Many
wild claims are made for all kinds of products. Why should I believe that your
product works?

book The Cure is in the Cupboard, which is an in depth study of the multiple
uses of Oil of Oregano, many research references are given which will substantiate
any of the material written on this web site concerning the proven effects of Oregano
oil. Please see our "Testimonials" page to see what our customers are
experiencing. Also, we offer a full money back guarantee if you are not completely
satisfied with our Oil of Oregano.
I
have heard that there are all kinds of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria
out there as a result of the overuse of antibiotics. Will Oregano oil be effective
at killing these mutant strains of bacteria?Yes. Oil of Oregano
kills even the highly antibiotic-resistant mutant strains of bacteria. The best
news is that Oil of Oregano WILL NOT create more mutant strains of bacteria.
Should
I drink lots of water when taking Oil of Oregano?Yes. Water helps
flush toxins left from dead pathogens (bacteria, candida, parasites etc.) from
the body. It is important to drink 8-12 glasses of water daily to maintain good
health. This is especially true when dis-ease is present. If headaches, fatigue
or flu like symptoms occur after taking Oregano oil, this is a signal that the
oil is doing its job and killing pathogens. By drinking lots of water you flush
these poisons out of your body.
I
have had a stubborn toe nail fungus. What is the best way to use Oil of Oregano
for this condition?Use Oil of Oregano both internally and externally.
Usually nail fungus originates from internal Candida overgrowth. Take 2-3 drops
3 times daily and apply the oil topically to the affected area in the morning
and before bed. Keep the area well bathed and dry. Drink lots of water to flush
toxins from the system. Headaches or flu like symptoms may occur and indicate
a "healing crisis". This is caused by the toxins from the dead fungus
in the bloodstream. Water will flush these out of your body. Drink more water!
Prolonged treatment could be necessary. It takes 6 months for a big toenail to
grow out again. Larger dosages may be necessary. When taking larger dosages, take
3 or 4 drops up to 7x a day. Never take it all at once and do not start at these
levels. Always listen to your body. Everyone is different and different people
require different amounts to treat the same condition.
For chronic conditions such as candida,
how long will treatment take and can I use the oil on an ongoing basis without
interruption?
The length of time it takes to clear candida will
differ from person to person and is dependent on many factors such as diet, lifestyle,
stress factors etc. The oil may be used continually, however listen to your body.
If you feel like taking a break for a few days, that is fine. Always be sure to
drink lots of water while taking the Wild Oil of Oregano.
Is
Oil of Oregano safe for children? For infants and children up to
the age of seven, external use only is mandated. Dilute one drop in a teaspoon
or less of vegetable oil and massage into the soles of the feet. The oil may also
be inhaled straight from the bottle or by placing a drop on a tissue or
cloth. For older children the oil may be taken internally. It is advised to use
only one drop and dilute it with olive oil, juice or a teaspoon of honey to reduce
the heat sensation which may be too strong for a child. Preventative measures
against disease are very effective in keeping your children healthy. Germs spread
from the hands to the mouth are notorious for causing infections. Dirty fingernails
harbor all kinds of nasty pathogens. Keep your child's fingernails short and frequently
wash their hands and nails with a drop or two of Oil of Oregano and soap. Liquid
soap is easy to mix the Oregano oil into.
Does
Oil of Oregano work in the same way as Echinacea?
No, Oil of Oregano
is a natural antibiotic and immune booster whereas Echinacea is an immune system
stimulant only. Echinacea is useful in keeping your immune system strong but will
not destroy fungus, bacteria, candida or viruses whereas Oil of Oregano has been
laboratory tested and proven to be one of the most effective and safe antibacterial,
anti fungal, anti parasitic and antiviral agents known to man. In a study done in
Poland, where 75 different herbs were evaluated for their ability to strengthen
the immune system, only Oregano demonstrated strong immune system enhancement.
Can
I take too much Oil of Oregano?Yes! Essential oils are composed
of highly concentrated naturally occurring chemicals. Even herbs and natural forms
of many plants are only beneficial in small quantities. This is true of Oil of
Oregano. Please do not exceed recommended dosages except in cases of life threatening
infection. The adage "less is more" is at work here. The liver must
process the Oregano oil and will become overloaded if too large an amount is taken.
People using excessive amounts of alcohol regularly or taking 3 or more prescription
drugs should avoid using Oil of Oregano.
Can
Oil of Oregano be used to help prevent infections?Yes. Use Oil
of Oregano with soap to wash hands or skin after exposure to public washrooms
or close contact with other people such as shaking hands, kissing or crowded environments
such classrooms, airplanes, buses etc. You may also inhale the oil, or rub it
on the gums. Avoid mucous membranes and other sensitive skin areas. Oil of Oregano
can be added to water in a mister and sprayed around the house to kill bacteria,
mold and viruses in the air. Use a drop or two on a sponge or wet cloth for cleaning
kitchen counters, sinks, stoves; and refrigerators in order to kill microbes.

a need to use this much, so your bottle should last much longer.
What
is the shelf life of Oil of Oregano? The shelf life of the oil is
many years. Oil of Oregano contains natural antioxidants which preserve the olive
oil.
Are there other
uses for Oil of Oregano?

and other compounds which are powerful antioxidants. You may add to water and

What
are the benefits of using wildcrafted oregano in your Wild Oil of Oregano?
Most of the essential oils produced are geared towards the flavor
and fragrance industry. Huge volumes are required and most of the plant material
is conventionally farmed using chemical fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides
and fungicides, all of which are toxic to humans, animals and Mother Earth. Until
recently many aromatherapists, suppliers and manufacturers that use essential
oils remained unconvinced that organic and wild crafted plant material produced
a superior oil. That line of thought was proven inaccurate by testing done in
Europe over two year sago. It was discovered through laboratory testing that essential
oils derived from most conventionally farmed plant material contained as much
as fifty times the allowable limit of agri-chemicals considered safe in food products.
Due to the rapid assimilation of essential oils into the human bloodstream, the
hazards of using these chemically laden oils is readily apparent. For essential
oils to be safe therapeutically and for personal use they must be produced from
chemical free, organically grown or wild plant material. In our experience, wild
crafted plants generally produce the most beautiful and beneficial oils. In the
case of oregano, the soil and climate conditions in the Mediterranean wilderness
combine to create optimum conditions for the high carvacrol oregano. The resulting
oil is of the very highest therapeutic quality. Naturally it is free of toxic
chemicals.
What is the percentage of Carvacrol in your Oregano essential oil?
Our oil GC tested at over 80% Carvacrol.
